About the role
As the successful applicant, the Site Estimator will play a pivotal role in our project lifecycle; your duties will include but not be limited to:
- on-site measurements and use of rotating laser levels
- reviewing project plans/specifications/drawings to understand requirements
- analysing materials/labor/equipment costs to develop accurate project estimates
- collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing & quotes
- preparing detailed cost estimates (incl. material take-offs & labor projection)
- presenting estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and negotiations.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Full Australian working rights essential (we cannot provide sponsorship at this time)
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent or Trade Certification in relevant field.
- V6 Software and MS Office experience essential (AutoCAD experience advantageous)
- 5-10 yrs. Estimator experience in the commercial window and door industries (with proven ability to conduct accurate site measurements)
- Valid Elevated Work Platform License (EWP) (or willing to obtain)
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
