About the Role:
We’re looking for a driven, team player to join our Site Management team to oversee operations of the whole site on a day-to-day basis and to ensure each project comes in on time and in budget. This includes being responsible for ensuring WHS compliance on all sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects, as allocated by the Head of Site Management
- Liaison, management and co-ordination of projects from Project Manager handover of scope of works, site plans and timeline through to client move-in;
- Promote safety at every opportunity, leading by example;
- Review project programs (Gantt chart) with PM’s weekly and advice of changes both verbally and in writing, including maintaining distribution on site of the current set of drawings;
- Coordinating all on-site contractors and ensuring they are in line with the program to ensure works completed in accordance with the project program;
- Managing quality control of site and ensuring trade rectifications, based on the Rectification Lists provided by Project Managers, are completed within 7 days;
- Obtain trade sign-off for work completed to requirements
- Raise and report Non-conformances against trades for breaches of requirements
- Set up and maintain WHS policies and procedures including site access, risk assessment, signage, furniture, first aid kits, site inductions, audits, tool box talks, SWMS’s.
- Participate in PCG meetings as required & liaise regularly with Building Managers
- Timely reporting and follow-up of accidents and incidents;
- Ensure sites and common areas are kept tidy and coordinate rubbish removal
- Manage and close out defects in a timely manner
- As required, general duties/ labor tasks assigned by PM’s e.g. ceiling tile management, demolition works, install flat pack furniture
- Attendance to all WHS quarterly meetings at Sheldon Head Office;
- Communicating safety performance to Management
About you:
You will have 2-5 years experience in a similar role and understand the importance of managing stakeholders for the duration of a project, acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of site team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
Personal drive, initiative and resourcefulness, alongside excellent communications skills, are qualities we look for in the role. We’re looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, ability to problem solve and perform to timelines.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated Design & Construct Fitout Site Management experience - Preferred
- Trade Certificate – Trade Background Preferred
- General Construction Certificate (White Card)
- First Aid Certificate
- Certificate IV WHS – not mandatory but highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with team members
- Leadership skills
- Management and organisational skills
- Procore experience
