Build Site Manager - Nights - Retail Fit Out

The Business An established financially buoyant Tier Three Retail Fit Out business client has approached Randstad to employ a solid Site Manager to start on Night Shifts from 5pm-2am in June for 33 weeks. The project is over 2 floors in a live environment, full strip out and refurbishment to the existing Fashion store, with some small new build components. They are very much a solid identity in the Retail Fit Out space competing with large competitors so this person needs to be well polished in Retail Fit projects, client facing, computer literate and a good communicator.They are recognised for their consistent delivery, positive and proactive approach and retaining a harmonious and happy culture. The key to their success is their motivated staff, and therefore they are very selective with whom they employ and invest in.About the role As one of their Site Managers you will be expected to take full ownership of the project during the nights, supervising site activities and delegating as necessary. Ideally you will have an all-round capability, understanding structural elements, carpentry / joinery elements and have a seasoned portfolio working on similar build projects over “$3 million AUD” in Australia.Day Shift Site Manager and Junior Project Manager already appointed. Two Labourers for the shifts are also in negotiation, so this will be the last appointment to complete the team.Duties:

• Adherence to BCA standards
• Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
• Daily and Monthly reporting
• OH&S
• Subcontractor site Inductions
• Client Care
• Managing onsite issues
• Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.

Skills and Experience

• You will have a minimum of 3 year’s experience working on similar projects.
• Trade Qualified in Carpentry and Joinery or Brick Laying.
• You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
• Confident and looking to exceed in all facets of your work. Delivering on time and on Budget.
• Exceptional Communication skills
• A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
• Good management approach.
