About the role
You will manage the coordination of trades, contractors and suppliers, as well as other project related activities. Your general duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage commercial construction projects, specialising in Medical fit-outs
- Read and interpret plans & specifications accurately
- Program & co-ordinate construction works
- Meet project deadlines and budget
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Clients & Contractors to ascertain project scope, schedule, and proposal
- Monitor delivery, installation & work progress
- Ensure all contractors & trades are site inducted & project-based safety records are maintained
- Understand & comply with OH&S guidelines, maintain safe work practices, report safety incidents & potential risk/safety hazards
- Understand building methodologies (OHSE Act, Legislation & Building Code)

- Ability to build and maintain quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise and polite verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent prioritisation and time management skills, successfully working to tight deadlines with minimal error
- Solutions based mindset with the ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently
Qualifications & Experience
- Building Trade Certificate or Cert IV qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager in commercial fit-out
- Background in carpentry and civil works highly desirable
- Experience in Medical fit-out highly desirable
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Project
- Proficient in Procore and Sign on Site software desirable
