Our services are provided at sites across greater thegreater Sydney area.
About our new homes
Our brand new, luxury homes are scheduled to open in July 2023.Located in Jannali, they have been designed to support 9 peoplewith complex behaviour and high physical support needs, to livewith as much independence as possible. Beautifully resourced, in asingle dual street frontage location, it offers five, 1 bedroomvillas and two, 2 bedroom villas. Designed with qualityfinishes, the homes are all assistive technology ready and areclose to local shops, a train station, buses and parks.
This is a brand-new way of delivering support and we are lookingfor someone who will go above and beyond to ensure our residentsthrive in their environment. In return, we will provideongoing support and training to ensure you succeed in your newrole.
About The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager you will manage and lead theday-to-day operations. With your strong coaching andmentoring skills, you will support a team of Disability SupportWorkers to develop and implement best practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordination of the care and services to the people we support in their own home.
- Strive to achieve the goals set by the people we support and ensure that they have a say in their services and choice and control in their own home.
- Provision and supervision of creative, individually tailored support.
- Coordination of resources, including shared spaces, assets and vehicles.
- Leading safe work practices at your site with a risk awareness and management focus.
- Ensuring all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place.
- Managing key stakeholder relationships.
- On call support (shared roster approx. 2 to 3 times a year)
About you
You are a dedicated and innovative Site Manager who naturallythinks outside the box and adopts a person centric approach.
You are a motivated, resilient and caring leader who wants tosupport your team to provide services to people with a disabilityand whom have complex needs. You want to ensure the people wesupport achieve their best life ensuring they have choice andcontrol.
You are commercially savvy and understand the need to balancequality service provision with the delivery of serviceable hoursand ratios that are contracted by the person we support. Youenjoy a challenge and are not afraid of change and working throughcomplex situations and issues. You are striving for continuousimprovement and delivering high quality services. You are a greatcommunicator and invest in developing great stakeholderrelationships.
Essential
- Leadership experience providing care services in the disability, health or community sector.
- Confidence and ability to coach and mentor staff to reach their full potential, while providing active support to customers with complex behaviours of concern.
- Demonstrate good analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer/technology skills, written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder relationship building skills.
- Current NSW Driver’s License.
- First Aid Certificate.
Preferred
- Certificate IV in Disability or similar
- Tertiary qualifications highly regarded
Successful applicants will require a current NSW Drivers Licenceand full COVID-19 vaccination and booster. An offer will be subjectto a police clearance and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
