As part of the partnership with a large national's retail store they are seeking a Contract Site Manager to deliver a refurb of one of their central located stores
Position: Contract Site Manager
Location: Newcastle
Key Responsibilities: As the Contract Site Manager Your responsibilities will include:
- Site Management: Oversee all aspects of the construction project, from inception to completion, ensuring it adheres to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce strict health and safety protocols, creating a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain stringent quality control measures to ensure that all construction work meets the builder's standards of excellence.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the builder and the client, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a strong background in fit out
- A track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Duration: 2 months roughly
- Start Date: 11th march rough start
- Type: Contract role on Hourly rate or Day rate
