About the role
Managing of the installation Field Crews, you would be responsible for the beginning to end of the install process of our massive 50ha plus structures. The work is often in EWPs at heights approximately 5m from ground, physically demanding and takes place in horticultural regions Dedication and commitment to learning the finer points of the trade whilst producing the highest quality work is a must.
Key Responsibilities for the role
* Managing a crew of up to 30-50 staff
* Ensuring correct and quality installs
* Responsible for efficiency and working to time frames of the installs
* Actively participate in on-the-job training
* Communicate with team members, other supervisors, and other site workers effectively
Skills & experience
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Ability to communicate and demonstrate what is required
* Training new staff and old staff in new practice of construction and erecting protective canopies
* Ability to be part of and manage an enthusiastic team
* Strong hands-on background either within construction, farming or agriculture
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel
* Experience with other project management software an advantage but not essential
