About the Role
Contract Resources has an exciting position available for an experienced Site Manager to join our team at the Ampol Refinery in Lytton, QLD, and provide technical and supervisory support and direction. The primary purpose of the role is to lead and develop the team across all areas of the contract.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Lead the account across all disciplines in maintenance, projects and T&I.
- Demonstrate commitment to CR’s values and lead by example when applying them in the workplace.
- Develop employee’s capability and performance across all levels of the contract.
- Lead best practice in HSE performance, including employee relations, field engagement and incident/injury management.
- Manage the commercial and financial outcomes of the account including accurate budgeting and reporting.
- Manage a team covering a diverse range of skills and scope of work.
- Facilitate and participate in company and client meetings, including quarterly reviews, monthly information/development sessions and weekly updates.
- Develop and maintain key client relationships.
- Ensure there is sufficient resources & equipment to support the contract.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities appropriate to company and client needs.
- Maximise opportunities for growth and development out of the account.
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Leadership/Management qualifications (minimum diploma level)
- Technical qualifications (specific to industry)
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques.
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook (intermediate)
- 2+ year’s management experience or 3+ years in a similar role e.g. superintendent/coordinator.
- A background in oil & gas, petro-chemical or similar industry with transferrable skills.
