As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of our warehousing and distribution teams. You will play a crucial role in optimizing operations, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day activities at the site, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Implement and maintain operational processes to streamline workflow and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other departments, such as transportation and procurement, to coordinate logistics activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve site performance.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and goals for the site.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics, with at least 3-5 years in a management role.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Ability to analyse data, problem-solve, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) are a plus.
