Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.

The Role:

Offered on a 2:1 roster from Perth, you’ll be responsible for the development & implementation of planning, scheduling and information systems in supporting individual projects and overall program planning.

• Ensuring planning & scheduling for projects comply with company standards.
• Liaison with the Project Manager, design team, operations, service providers & other contractors on an ongoing basis.
• Advise, assist and support Extension of Time Claim delay analysis as requested by the Project Management teams.
• Design all project schedules and ensure integrity of data in all project life cycle.
• Work with the construction and project manager to monitor project works to identify and immediately act upon any areas of concern with Project Teams.

• Experience working on an EPCM environment essential
• Accurate ability to forecast project schedules for staff, potential delays and completion dates
• Strong analytical, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accurately calculate construction costs and analyse risk
