Due to winning new projects KAEFER Integrated Services are currently looking for a Site Superintendent to join a new project in Geelong Victoria.
As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will play a key role in coordinating and supervising the construction team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project goals, progress, and challenges.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and change orders.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment on-site.Assist with implementation of systems, controls and training to ensure labour productivity is within budget.
About You
- Demonstrated previous experience as a Site Superintendent preferably in the Construction / infrastructure industry.
- Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and MS Project
- Great time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication and client relationship building skills
- High attention to detail
