AddressDynaciv specialises in Structural Strengthening, Bridge work, Protective Coating, Waterproofing and Concrete Remediation. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Construction Supervisor to join our team. Applicants must be able to demonstrable experience in structural strengthening, steel work and protective coating. Knowledge of working within the rail network would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and schedules.
- Monitor and manage project budgets.
Team Management:
- Direct and supervise site staff, including subcontractors and labourers.
- Conduct regular site meetings to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior staff as needed.
Quality Control:
- Inspect work for compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies promptly.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship meet the required standards.
Safety Management:
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations on site.
- Ensure all work done in the rail corridor meets Queensland Rail and RIW requirements
- Address and mitigate any safety hazards immediately.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and any incidents.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Resource Management:
- Coordinate delivery and use of materials and equipment.
- Optimise resource and sub-contractor allocation to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Handle procurement of materials as necessary.
A tertiary qualification in Civil engineering, Contract Management or similar is required. An attractive Package will be offered to the right candidate with the desired experience and capability.
