AddressOur client is a well-respected boutique residential & Commercial construction business based in Perth. They have a growing list of quality clients and a pipeline of projects. They are offering an opportunity for a career-focused and motivated Site Supervisor to join their close-knit team.
The first project you will be working on are four $1M NDIS single storey homes starting in 4-6 weeks.
In the medium term there will be the opportunity to work on Commercial projects which will be across fit outs, Apartment builds & retail projects.
About you
The successful candidate may currently be working as a supervisor within the Perth construction industry and seeking to expand their career in becoming a Site Supervisor / Registered Builder in custom residential and key Commercial projects.
Key attributes
- Suitably trained & qualified Tradesman's (preferred) with minimum 5 years carpentry and/or general building Supervisory experience across Residential and/or Commercial projects
- A eye for detail & commitment to quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
- Ability to supervise internal staff & contractors.
- Good communications skills, written, verbal & listening.
- A reasonable level of computer literacy with the ability to liaise professionally with clients & trades.
- Bring a positive ‘can do’ attitude to work.
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- Openness to learning and drive for continuous improvement
The successful applicant will be managing daily & scheduling of site activities including:
- Undertaking various trade-based activities whilst coordinating labour, trades & suppliers.
- Regular communication of job progress, record keeping, site diary management.
- Maintaining quality of construction and upholding the company’s strong brand
- Ensuring safe working areas and maintaining safe work practices
- Working closely with the two directors that have significant experience within the construction industry
