Newport Homes is a boutique custom home builder with a growing footprint in the Sydney market. We have consistently demonstrated our commitment to delivering one-off custom designed homes. With a strong pipeline of projects up to $2 million, we are searching for a dedicated Site Supervisor to contribute to our success. As a Site Manager, you will take charge of overseeing multiple custom designed residential projects. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that each project meets our impeccable standards and is delivered on time and within budget. Working closely with a team of experienced professionals, you will manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously, leveraging your expertise to drive excellence throughout the construction process.
Qualifications & experience
- Passionate about the building industry.
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction with a custom home building company.
- Good leadership and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of the NCC (National Construction Code) and other relevant legislation relating to the construction industry.
- Good understanding of current WHS legislation.
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or qualification in a recognized building trade.
- A high degree of pride in the quality of their work and a high attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate well with Clients’, trade contractors, suppliers, and the project team.
- Positive and enthusiastic, with a willingness to improve those around them.
- Valid drivers license, White Card and Australian citizen
Tasks & responsibilities
- Full project supervision of custom designed homes from commencement through to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered in adherence to plans, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain open communication with clients, site staff, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal staff to review project status, budgets, and timelines.
- Uphold adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Foster a cohesive and productive team environment on-site.
