About the role
We are currently seeking applications for a Site Supervisor at our Cape Preston operation in the Pilbara, situated in the Karratha area. The role will operate on a FIFO 8/6-day roster and will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of this Orica operation.
This is a magnificent development opportunity and a perfect stepping stone for a current Orica MMU Operator or Team Leader wishing to take their next step in their leadership career.
The Site Supervisor will primarily be charged with forming trusted relationships with our customer stakeholders, attending client meetings, performing incident investigations, and playing a key role in developing safety management plans.
What you will be doing
- Ensure a fantastic safety record and commitment;
- Manage maintenance activities on all Orica fixed plant and equipment;
- Manage logistics and distribution of raw material to site;
- Ensure operational process meets Orica standards and customer's expectations.
- Proven track record and ability to live by Orica valued charter “ Safety is our Priority” ;
- Strong understanding of DTH service ;
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Solid people leadership and management skills and ability to motivate;
- Current and valid Heavy Rigid driving license, DGDL or DGSC;
- 2 years minimum experience in operating Orica MMU and similar.
