Opportunity to join a builder have been operating in the construction sector for over 20 years. From humble beginnings, the owners have grown the business to now be, the go to company in this specialist space. Over the last 18 months they've seen both their turnover and headcount close to double in size, and have recently secured a further $26m worth of work.With a strong pipeline and steady stream of enquiries they're now in a position to appoint a further Site Supervisor to join the team.In the role of Site Supervisor, you will be working in a close knit team reporting to a Construction Manager with the the role encompassing:
- Schedule and order materials in line with building program.
- Assist in the maintenance and review of building construction programs by actively monitoring and completing all tasks including the monitoring of the progress of trade contractors
- Lead by example in the adoption and implementation of the HSEQ Management Plan. Actively contribute to the development and of the company’s HSEQ systems
- Establish, implement, review and operate site HSEQ activities
- Provide technical expertise on methods of construction
- Assist in the project and contract management of projects including implementation of Project Management Plans
- Undertake ITP and quality inspections in line with HSEQ Management Plan
- Build effective and beneficial relationships with all stakeholders including suppliers and trade contractors
- Engagement and control of sub-contractors
- Cost control
- Review working drawings and prestart site work sheets to ensure detail and information is correct
- Attend construction meetings and provide job progress reports
- 3+ Years Residential or Commercial Construction experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager/Foreman
- Trade background or tertiary qualification
- Strong organisational skills and excellent time management
- Ability to work to deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
