Our client is seeking trade qualified Site Supervisors, with some positions as fly in fly out remote works as well as local position. Our client operates in the commercial, defense, residential, insurance and maintenance sector throughout the NT and seek additional staff to facilitate current and future works. Our client itself on being a family business with a focus on high quality workmanship and integrity. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and trade qualified individuals to join our team.
Qualifications & experience
· Proven track record in a similar role or environment with a minimum of 2 years' experience
· Good communication skills both verbal and written
· Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism to both internal and external customers
· Excellent supervision, organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Tasks & responsibilities
· Review project plans, schedules, and specifications, providing insights into construction design, scheduling, cost-saving measures, and potential issues.
· Forecast operational requirements, allocate labour and trade resources, and optimise performance.
· Monitor the performance of construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with the scope of works.
· Attend site meetings with Project Managers, liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss projects and resolve issues.
· Implementation of site-specific Health and Safety Work Plans and ensure safe working conditions.
