As we continue to grow and explore global opportunities, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Site Support Specialist/Laboratory Aide to join our Laboratory department. This role will be on a roster basis, shifts are available Monday to Saturday, across the hours of 7am through 8pm. The role is based within our dynamic team environment at our Macquarie Park Head Office.
The Opportunity
Responsibilities include:
- Daily unpacking and receiving of sample collection kits. Accessioning kits in the database and tracking all inbound and referral shipments.
- Data entry, troubleshooting shipment and specimen issues
- Acts as a point of contact at Sonic Clinical Trials client support services, liaising with study site personnel, monitors and sponsors.
- Responsible for the complete operation of assigned studies from client support, kit production and shipping through to result reporting.
About You
- Qualifications in Laboratory Techniques, Healthcare or Science
- Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting
- Time management and organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft applications skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Commitment to high quality work and customer service
- Self-motivated, with a high attention to detail, ability to be flexible, and a willingness to display initiative
- Prepared to handle human biological samples, liquid nitrogen and dry ice
