The Opportunity:

Icon Water’s Project Delivery team is responsible for delivering the capital and major maintenance projects which ensure Icon Water can meet the needs of the Canberra community. 

Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for specialised project surveillance activities associated with the delivery of multi-disciplined, multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects.  Your work will include the liaison with stakeholders and engagement and management of construction contractors to ensure that schedules, technical, quality, safety and environmental obligations are achieved.

Working closely with the Project Manager and a team of engineers, the work you do will contribute to the safe and efficient delivery of projects that guarantee people’s access to safe, reliable water and wastewater services. If you are a detail oriented professional and are looking to develop your project management skills in a dynamic client-side environment, then we would like to hear from you. 

What are we looking for?

• Relevant trade-based qualification, or technical certificate or diploma in a relevant discipline (civil, mechanical or electrical) from a recognised  tertiary institution
• Knowledge and experience with established project management methodologies 
• Knowledge of construction industry and best practice
• Experience in procurement and contract management.
