ABOUT THE ROLE:
With the recent local and world markets shift toward zero emission vehicles and benefitting from Volgren’s strong focus on the design and development of innovative new bus solutions, we are looking to increase our workforce at this exciting time with talented individuals contributing to the overall success of our company.

We are looking to fill multiple Skilled Detailer/Construction roles within our Eagle Farm facility. In this hands-on position, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have a strong drive and motivation to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
Positions enjoy working a 9-day fortnight. Pay rate is market competitive and depends on experience and qualifications. This will be a permanent full-time opportunity and paid as per our Enterprise Agreement.
- Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with company standards and client requests.
- Maintain good operating condition of equipment and facilities.
- Perform inspection and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
- Apply protective finishes to the exteriors.
- Perform inspection to ensure that each step of the cleaning process has been completed.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
- Previous exposure and experience in a vehicle manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
- Applicants with previous experience in Detailer/Construction and or Fabrication, would be highly advantageous.
- Cleaning experience will be highly regarded (transport, domestic, and commercial)
- Experience in car, bus or truck detailing also highly regarded.
- Time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate with teams.
- Strong attention to detail, motivated, punctual, and prompt to act on support request.
- Manufacturing or related industry experience is a plus
This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test
