About this role:
As the Field Supervisor, it will be your role to supervise and manage TECA subcontractors working in your designated region. Ensuring there is a high level of compliance with our client’s procedures to ensure key performance indicators targets are met by conducting post and live audits of the sub-contractor’s work. You will be required to provide technical support and drive best practise within your sub-contractor group.
As part of your role, you will need to support your fellow TECA supervisors and work closely alongside them to drive consistency and excellence with our contractors. The role will require of you, living away from home and travel within your designated region as part of the role.
The Responsibilities entrusted to you:
- Oversee the work orders assigned to your region of TECA contractors daily, with emphasis on scheduling and contractor capacity.
- Be able to provide installation coverage should a subcontractor not be available to ensure consistency with our service delivery
- Work remotely with minimum supervision.
- Attend weekly and monthly meetings with our clients providing operational input on behalf of TECA.
- Strong emphasis on audits of TECA contractors work in NSW to meet your monthly KPI’s
- Manage field escalations/ urgent jobs and short notice job re-allocations.
- Proactively communicate any field issues or operational impacts with your line manager
- Conduct buddy training and assessment of contractors being onboarded to the program
- Rectify Quality Assurance issues raised by the client resulting from non-complaint work and assist with any corrective actions
- Handle stock distribution and asset transfers
About You:
- A Grade Electrician, with ASP Level 2(2D) Accreditation at a minimum
- NSW Electrical Licence
- Previous Experience in Smart Metering Essential
- Previous supervision or coaching experience
- Good understanding of NSW SIR, MIR's and Network rules
- Self-disciplined and high work ethics to be able to work without supervision, as well as being a team player
- Customer service focused and with good people skills to build a repour with TECA Contractors
- Can multi-task to handle conflicting priorities
- Flexible to travel at a moments notice if required
- Be workplace health and safety focused
- Proficient in Excel and Word
Successful candidates will be required to provide a valid Police check and undergo a pre-employment medical.
