AddressPosition Overview: As an Electrical or Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the electrical or mechanical aspects of our major construction project in Western Sydney. You will ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical installations and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of electrical work.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Mechanical Supervisor:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, of mechanical systems.
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with Australian standards and project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and engineers.
- Address and rectify any mechanical issues encountered on site.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and protocols.
Qualifications:
Electrical Supervisor:
- Relevant trade or electrical engineering qualifications.
- Proven experience in supervising electrical work on large construction projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Mechanical Supervisor:
- Relevant trade or mechanical engineering qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising mechanical work on major construction sites.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems and standards and hydraulics.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
