About Us
Detector Inspector started in 2005 when our two founders, Jason and Jordan, recognised an opportunity to make a difference - we could help make homes safer for renters and make safety compliance easier for property managers. We do this by providing testing and maintenance services to the real estate industry for Smoke Alarms, gas, electrical, corded blinds, and water efficiency to over 300,000 properties across Australia.

About The Role
Due to our rapid growth, we are now seeking a highly professional and presentable technicians based in Newcastle. You'll be helping to make homes safer by installing, testing, and servicing smoke detectors in residential properties.
With work currently available for 5 days per week, the night before each workday, you will receive a schedule on your phone that will assist you in managing appointments for the next day. You will start your day from home to your first appointment, whilst utilising an app to record your process. Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary.
Please note that in this role you will service properties across Newcastle and surrounding areas, so travel times to your first appointment could be up to 90 minutes from your home location. Utilising our in-house booking system, jobs are typically booked within close proximity to each other.
Key requirements
