BCMC Safety Solutions is an industry leader in the installation and maintenance of Smoke Alarms and safety compliance, in residential properties across Australia. An opportunity exists for a Smoke Alarm Technician to join our team
Salary starting from $50,000 - $55,000 depending on experience + Super + Car + Fuel Card + Phone & tools.
About this role:
• Full time Monday to Friday (finish early on a Friday!)
• This roll offers some flexibility, but required work must be completed
• Each shift will include a daily run of jobs for you to attend. You will conduct an inspection, perform maintenance, and record details. Tools and vehicle
provided. All data is recorded via mobile device to a online database.
• You will be performing inspections for Smoke Alarms in residential properties, corded window safety adjustments, safety switch checks, and a combination of other safety related services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Use of ladders, cleaning and testing equipment, use of power tools for installing alarms and wall plugs in concrete.
• Installation, replacement and maintenance of 9v Smoke Alarms.
• Training will be provided in order to understand Smoke Alarm legislation, and any new legislation in order to make decisions for each job. There will be on the job training and education plus materials provided.

You must hold a
- Valid NSW driver’s license with impeccable driving record
- Ability to navigate and drive to each location promptly and safely
- Police background check required - organised by us
- Handy plus a knowledge of tools
- Accuracy with data entry
- Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
- Trustworthy, dependable and honest individual
- Good customer service skills, clean and tidy presentation and positive attitude
- Proven time management skills and the ability to think on your feet and make decisions quickly.
