Form of workOur Snowmaking and Groomer position is one of the most important roles on the hill. Without them, there’d be no winter season! In this role, you are responsible for making snow, operating the all-weather snow-making machine and grooming snow surfaces. This role is a nighttime role, and you may instructed to assist with other jobs when the temperatures are not right.

Role Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of weather and temperature
- Safe operation of all snowmaking equipment, this includes but not limited to:
- Hoses
- Hydrants
- Pumps
- Fan Guns
- All Weather Snowmaking Machine (“the Yeti”)
- Safe operation of groomer fleet
- Maintenance of snowmaking making and grooming equipment as required
- Fill out daily logs
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work nights (Experience with night shifts ideal)
- Willingness to work outdoors in an alpine environment
- Candidate must be fit and able
- Duties include carrying hoses, shoveling etc.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols and willingness to champion safety as the right way to do things
- Willingness and enthusiasm to learn skills or new ways of achieving things
