Location: Albury Community Corrections Office

Salary: $116,478 to $144,594 plus Employer’s contribution to Superannuation and Annual Leave Loading 

Position Type: Ongoing and Temporary opportunities available - Part Time

What you’ll do


This role would suit an experienced psychologist who enjoys using expert psychology skills in a multidisciplinary team while living in a vibrant regional city. Your tasks will include:

  • Delivering assessments and interventions to people who offend.
  • Providing expert consultation to staff regarding offender mental health and risk management (including sexual and violent offender assessment).
  • Maintaining concise documents and notes on offenders receiving psychological services and programs.
  • Preparing reports, advice, and consultation to courts as directed.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attending supervision, professional development, and networking opportunities.
  • Completing administrative tasks.

What we’re looking for
 

We're seeking candidates with a minimum of four years' accredited qualification in psychology and current provisional or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. A current driver's license and willingness to travel throughout NSW are essential.
