We're seeking a dedicated Social Inclusion Lead to drive our mission forward by providing personalised support to our clients across the stunning South Coast of NSW, stretching from Wollongong to Batemans Bay, with our main hub located in Batemans Bay (Malua Bay).
Position Summary: As our Social Inclusion Lead, you'll play a crucial role in empowering our clients to live fulfilling lives along the picturesque South Coast. You'll lead a team in providing tailored support, coaching, and mentoring to ensure each client's unique needs and aspirations are met. Your focus will be on fostering a positive culture, complying with NDIS regulations, and delivering impactful programs that help clients achieve their desired outcomes.
Position Details: In addition to directly supporting clients, you'll oversee a range of services offered to people with disabilities, including a day program in Malua Bay, outreach community support, in-home support, and respite services. With our main hub located in Batemans Bay, you'll coordinate activities and support services throughout the region, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all clients.
Key Objectives:
- Build meaningful relationships with clients, respecting their choices and facilitating opportunities for growth and achievement.
- Navigate complex situations with resilience and a commitment to challenging assumptions to support clients effectively.
- Provide comprehensive support to clients, promoting their independence, well-being, and community engagement.
- Maintain a strong presence in the community, promoting our services and advocating for inclusivity.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS regulations and standards while seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Certificate IV in Community Services or equivalent experience.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Current Driver’s Licence and NDIS Worker Screener Check clearance.
- Proven experience in staff management, rostering, and financial management.
- Strong understanding of the disability sector and NDIS regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
