Social Media Assistant

Position Overview

We seek a motivated and experienced Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team. 

The successful candidate will manage and grow our Social Media presence across various platforms. 

This role requires a strong understanding of Social Media algorithms, the ability to create engaging content, and a passion for driving audience engagement and growth. 

The position's main responsibilities would be:

• Creation, curation and scheduling of engaging content across multiple platforms
• Video capture, editing and creating reels 
• Regular analysis and reporting on Social Media performance
• Conducting Social Media audits across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Linkedin
• Daily community management of our accounts. Inclusive of inbox monitoring, responding to comments and driving engagement
• Collaborating with team members to develop and implement comprehensive Social Media strategies
• Off-site visits to capture content for our Social Media pages
• Develop and implement Social Media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followers.
• Stay up-to-date with Social Media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimise content performance.
• Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for Social Media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Schedule and publish content across Social Media channels using Social Media management tools.
• Stay informed about industry news and trends to leverage opportunities for Social Media content and engagement.

What we are looking for:

• 1-year minimum experience in a similar role involving Social Media content creation
• Proven experience managing Social Media accounts and growing engagement and followers.
• Strong understanding of Social Media algorithms and best practices for various platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Ads Manager & Scheduling Platforms, Highly Regarded
• An analytical thinker who is logic-driven and able to solve problems
• Experience in capturing content, including photos and videos (e.g. reels): Highly Regarded
• Ability to manage groups and forum platforms such as Reddit
• Have an incredible eye for detail
