Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our small but growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Social Media strategies that align with our brand's vision, creating engaging video and graphic content across all Social Media platforms, managing our online reputation, and being the face of Sortd socials. As a start-up, the candidate must be willing to self-manage and take ownership of their work, and be excited about building something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Social Media strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Develop and execute the concept and creation of ads, including writing copy, filming and editing all assets.
- Create high-quality, on-brand content for all Social Media channels, including Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Write and edit copy for Social Media posts, captions, and hashtags.
- Work with influencers, UGC creators and brand ambassadors to expand Sortd’s reach and promote the product to new audiences.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews on Social Media platforms.
- Track and report on Social Media metrics and use data to optimise content and strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new Social Media platforms.
- Create fashion-oriented shopping lists and guides for our customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Comfortable appearing on camera in Social Media videos, including product demos and tutorials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of Social Media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Experience with editing tools and basic graphic design skills including Capcut and Canva.
- Experience with Social Media analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fashion and keeping up with the latest trends.
- Love for online shopping and ability to create fashion-oriented shopping lists and guides.
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a small team and taking ownership of their work.
- Excited about building something from the ground up and eager to contribute to the growth of the company.
