CPM Online Marketing is looking for a dynamic Social Media Marketing Intern specialising in video content creation in the hospitality industry to join our team. We have proudly achieved Viral results for our hospitality clients with some of our videos achieving Millions of organic views and having our client’s pages explode!

You will also learn some very valuable skills for general Social Media Marketing but this internship will be based more on how to maximise the more exciting video aspect of Social Media marketing using the Meta platforms, especially for food and drink venues

What you will learn

• Learn to create engaging video content for Instagram Reels and other Social Media platforms.
• Learn how to utilise video effectively to tell a story while getting the key selling message across for food and hospitality businesses. 
• Assist in video editing and post-production for Social Media channels.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for utilizing video content effectively to convey client messages and maximise reach.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Social Media and video marketing.

Requirements:

• Some previous experience or strong interest in marketing and Social Media.
• Proficiency in using Social Media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.
• Good English written communication skills for caption writing.
• Passion for food and the hospitality industry is a plus as that will be the focus of all the content and marketing
• Knowledge of cuisine and food trends is also advantageous.
• Available to intern two days a week for approximately 12 weeks (33 days interning ) 2 days a week at our Pyrmont office
• Must be able to commute to Pyrmont, Sydney for intern days (Tuesdays & Thursdays, or other days based on uni schedule).

In this internship the right candidate will be taught how to use all the latest software and cutting edge techniques used by leading Social Media Marketing agencies and gain real world experience learning these techniques and applying them to gain competency.

Requirements:

–  Preferably studying or have studied Marketing, Media, Advertising, Publishing, Journalism or Communications

–  Must know how to use Social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

– Must be able write good English as caption writing is a large part of the Internship

– The love of food is not compulsory but helps as you do look a lot at it!

– Knowing your cuisine and food is a big help!

– Must be able to intern two days a week for  33 days ( Approx 3+ Months ) This is an unpaid internship.

– Must be able to travel to Pyrmont, Sydney to intern in a collaborative office on Tuesdays & Thursdays ( If your uni has other days let us know and we can see what we can accommodate )

–The position for the internship is ready to commence by Mid June 24.
