What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Producer to join our Social Media team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about men’s lifestyle topics, adept at managing Social Media platforms, and capable of creating compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Reporting to the Head of Social, you’ll hit the ground running collaborating with our editorial team to produce, manage, and deliver on-the-pulse, results-driven social content that grows our social following, adds value to our audience and builds upon our brand presence in the Australian market.
Your responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of all Social Media platforms including Instagram, Facebook TikTok, YouTube, and others as needed.
* Develop and execute creative Social Media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
* Create and curate high-quality, visually appealing video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
* Maintain a strong editorial voice consistent with the Man of Many brand while staying on top of trends, news, and industry developments.
* Monitor and analyze Social Media performance metrics to optimise content, identify trends, and drive audience engagement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including editorial, branded content, and sales to align Social Media efforts with overall brand objectives.
* Stay informed about emerging Social Media platforms, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our social presence.
* Attending press events, activations, and product launches to capture social content.
Your required skills:
* 2+ years of experience in Social Media management, preferably in the lifestyle or publishing industry.
* Proven track record in growing Social Media following and engagement.
* Strong editorial skills with the ability to write compelling copy and develop creative concepts.
* Proficiency in Social Media analytics tools and platforms to track performance and inform decision-making.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
* A keen eye for design and aesthetics, with proficiency in photo and video editing tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Video Editing tools)
* Ability to respond quickly to timely news and relevant current events.
* Ability to operate under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
* Must be able to thrive as a member of a team while also being highly self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
* Video editing skills are highly desirable (but not compulsory).
