ABOUT THE ROLE
AFL Digital is currently seeking Casual Social Media Producer for the upcoming 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
This role will feature a mix of weekend and weekday/weeknight shifts, engaging and producing social content for AFL Social Media channels across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube.
Experience working with Instagram and TikTok for a brand’s channel is necessary, and demonstrated experience with photo and video editing programs will be highly valued, as this will be a part of match-day duties.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
Key Accountabilities:
- Engaging and producing social content for AFL Social Media channels across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube.
- Covering AFL and AFLW matches and publishing highlights in real-time
- Creating basic graphic and video content
- Liaising with editorial team to share AFL.com.au and Womens.com.au content to relevant social channels.

Core Competencies:
- An appetite for engaging with passionate fans and an ability to work confidently in a fast-paced environment are also essential elements to this position.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong passion for and knowledge of AFL and its players
- Sound communication and writing skills,
- Proven experience within the Social Media landscape.
- The ability to use Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro is essential.
