What will you do?
Some of the duties include:
- Provide social work services to the Centre’s female clients.
- Support staff and social work students in delivering case management services to female clients.
- Build and maintain networks to enhance service delivery.
- Embody ADRA’s values of Connected, Courageous, and Compassionate in all interactions, working efficiently and professionally to support female clients.
Essential Criteria
- Commitment to the purpose of ADRA, and to the achievement of our overall strategy and priorities with demonstration of our ADRA values and desired team culture lived out in all aspects of work practice.
- Willingness to work within a Christian ethos and show respect for the beliefs and practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the workplace or when representing ADRA Australia.
- Proven experience in related field work, demonstrating competency in case management, collaboration, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal relationships.
- Registered member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or a similar agency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication Skills;
- Demonstrated ability to relate well to both professional staff and volunteers of various backgrounds and ages;
- Confidence in managing data accurately and confidentially using various software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team, facilitate administrative processes.
- Commitment to industry enhancements, professional growth and improving work processes.
Desirable Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with women from diverse cultural backgrounds, including sensitivity to cultural differences and experience in culturally appropriate service delivery.
- Prior experience working with women’s services or programs, particularly in providing support to female clients facing issues such as domestic violence, mental health challenges, or social isolation.
