In this position you will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team across the acute units including Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Maternity, Critical Care, Paediatrics, Emergency and across the Outpatient Clinics including Renal and Ante Natal. This position may also include work in the Mary Coram Rehabilitation Unit.Working as a member of a cohesive team, you will be well supported as you manage a diverse caseload providing practical and emotional support to patients and their families to assist in the management of changes to health and wellbeing.We are looking for
- An approved tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Demonstrated skills in assessment and intervention options for patients with diverse and complex psychosocial circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independantly and as an active member of an interdisciplinary team
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills in the management of a clinical caseload and clinical responsibilities
- Experience in a healthcare setting
