Social Worker - Mental Health

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Allied Health team at The Melbourne Clinic. We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Social worker to join our multidisciplinary team and provide evidence-based interventions to support a range of Mental Health conditions, including depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, eating disorders, OCD and neurodevelopmental conditions. A range of evidence-based therapies are utilised including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ACT.
The successful applicant will work a permanent position at The Melbourne Clinic, Richmond, Victoria, and report to the Living Well Program Manager and Chief of Social Work.
The Melbourne Clinic (TMC) is a large private Mental Health service, comprising of Inpatient, Day Program and Outreach services. You will work with the team to achieve operational goals and maintain clinical integrity of therapeutic programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate groups within the Living Well Program and other specialist programs as required
- Provide individual sessions to inpatients (relevant to discipline) as required within programs
- Assist with the assessment of patients referred to the program for suitability
- Participate in the care planning and management of participants with the Living Well Program and other specialist programs
- Participate in the development and review of programs as necessary
- Participate in Quality Improvement Activities.
Selection Criteria
· Appropriate qualifications in Social Work,
· Eligibility for registration with the AASW,
· Extensive clinical experience in the provision of evidence-based interventions in Mental Health settings,
· Exceptional time management and communication skills, and ability to work autonomously,
· Proven skill in the facilitation of therapeutic programs
· and ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
