About the Role:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Social Worker within the Perinatal Mental Health Unit.
As a Social Worker you will provide assessment and treatment services for consumers of NALHN Perinatal Mental Health services which aim to optimise health outcomes.
Social Workers use increasing professional knowledge and skills to provide assessments, interpret findings and plan and implement interventions plans in conjunction with the consumers, their families, carers and other health professionals.
In this role you will work under direct clinical supervision and may provide direction and support to less experienced staff, allied health assistants and students.
As a Social Worker you will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team and liaises directly with medical, nursing and midwifery staff of NALHN and with other community agencies.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.
