One of Australia's leading State Government departments are looking to engage a Senior SOE Engineer/Systems Engineer to assist in developing solutions for Whole of Government identified issues and participate in assigned project work. The is based in Canberra and offer flexible working arrangements. The successful Senior SOE Engineer/Systems Engineer will be offered a 12 month contract with the possibility of a 12 month extension option.
The successful Senior SOE Engineer/Systems Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develop the SOE in a desktop operating environment including the distribution of applications.
- Develop and implement enterprise level automation solutions to replace repetitive tasks.
- Support infrastructure such as Group Policy, Intune, and login scripts.
- Develop and implement tools for data collection and automation of endpoint devices
The successful Senior SOE Engineer/Systems Engineer will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated high level technical achievement in a large Microsoft environment
- High level of SQL skills to support the development of a multi-tier application
- Good Oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence or negotiate
- Ability to automate tasks using Visual Basic and PowerShell
