YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Developer to join their team based in Minchinbury, NSW. The role will be involved in Designing and developing new bespoke customised applications for the operational business. Including Mobility/Web applications using the latest front-end technology, Value add solutions for vehicle/contract logistics and Other solutions/applications that would benefit CEVA and its customers
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Working in web technologies, development frameworks, principles of the SDLC and testing methods
- Excellent skills in development languages including Java, JavaScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, react.js, node.js or similar
- Develop technical solutions to business requirements that are scalable, secure and deliver the expected outcome
- Grow the set of web-based and mobile-friendly applications in alignment with global standards and frameworks
- Develop, build, test, deploy and support enhancements and/or new deployments.
- Collaborate as a core member of the development team to deliver value, in an agile, dev-ops manner
- Build knowledge of the supply chain via operational discussions, existing application enhancements and collaboration with local and regional teams.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Excellent coding and software development experience.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Writing PL/SQL scripts, procedures, packages and views using PostgreSQL
- Development skills in Java, JSF and EJB Framework, Hibernate (Database Layer) and Tomcat Server
- Experience in AAF using Shiro, CSS and react framework
- Functional domain knowledge or technology
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
