The Role:
Working under broad direction only, the role will also be responsible for complex programming and maintenance tasks, including unit testing, implementation, and documentation and will work closely with business analysts and project managers to contribute to the delivery of projects. The Software Developer will provide technical advice and assistance to colleagues and stakeholders, including code reviews and will contribute to the development of technical standards and standard components, specialising in one or more core development platforms.
About You:
To be successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate experience across the following key capabilities:
- Experience in Design, Development and deployment of multi-tiered web applications using APPIAN BPMS platform version 22.x or above
- Experience in working in a diverse team of Business and Technology specialists.
- Experience in monitoring, diagnosing and resolving issues in applications developed using APPIAN Business Process Management Solution.
- Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, MariaDB, Java, Jenkins, Atlassian Bitbucket, confluence and JIRA.
- Experience in web development/content management solutions.
- Experience in using software development methodologies (SDLC and/or Agile).
- Well-developed knowledge of cloud computing including Amazon Web Services and Azure Cloud Services.
- Well-developed knowledge in scripting languages (Shell Scripting), Development Environments (Azure Dev Ops, Java IDE).

- Successful applicants may be required to obtain a satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check prior to employment. A renewal will be required every 3 years.
Remuneration:
ASO7 - $106,512 min - $115,137 max
