WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Prototype software ideas for evaluation
• Convert algorithms and technical specifications into software
• Design, implement, debug existing and new software
• Support, maintain and document software functionality
• Perform software testing and quality assurance
• Assist in estimation of development effort
• Assist in code reviews
• Problem solving and troubleshooting

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Skills Expectation

• Solid understanding of coding principles
• Ability to work individually and collaboratively in a team environment

Essential requirements

• Live in South Australia
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Be an AUSTRALIAN citizen (non-citizens are unable to be considered due to the nature of our work)
• Be eligible and willing to obtain an Australian Government security clearance and retain that clearance while employed by Ebor Systems
• Willingness to travel within Australia and overseas if needed

Desirable requirements

• Have an existing Australian Government clearance
• Experience with C++, RUST
• Web background experience in Typescript, Angular, Vue, React, Java, Javascript, Mongo 
• An understanding of Agile and/or Scrum

WHAT CAN WE GIVE YOU?

Remuneration

• $87.5K to $105.5K annually + Super (dependant on experience)
• Additional Super Guarantee +1% with the ability to salary sacrifice up to 2% with a matching 2% contribution from Ebor

The hours

• Permanent Full-Time role, 38 hours per week
• Flexible time, based on core hours 10:00 to 15:00
• Probation of 6 months

The finer details

• Mile End location
• Office open hours typically 8:30-17:30
• Up to 4 days per fortnight working from home
