We are looking for a highly capable Software Engineer to work within our customer facing and internally used platforms/applications. They will optimize, develop new features, enhance system reliability and security, as well as ensure continuous operational improvement. This role blends expertise in software development, application configuration, application support and data analysis to ensure seamless integration and reliable performance of both new and existing solutions/platforms
Key Responsibilities:
- System Engineering and Provisioning: Design, configure, build, test, release, document, and manage IT solutions and integrations.
- DevOps Practices: Lead development and operations efforts, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Data Analysis: Analyze and manipulate data within platforms, understand data flows, and become a subject matter expert on data usage across operational teams.
- Platform Administration: Monitor application health, administer logging, manage backups, maintain various environments, and manage user access.
- Application Support and Troubleshooting: Resolve application issues, manage update cycles, perform performance tuning, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement and manage system health and security monitoring tools, identify and address reliability risks, and ensure system stability and scalability.
Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• At least 3 years in MCA/Loans or Financial Industry
• Experience with configuring, building upon, administering and supporting
company-wide business applications such as ERPs and CRMs
• Experience with cloud services (Ideally Azure)
• Proficient with CI/CD tooling (e.g. BitBucket)
• Hands on experience with Integrations and APIs
• Hands on experience developing with Java or C++
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and system
monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, ELK).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of working
under pressure to manage incidents.
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
• Familiar working with software development methodologies such as Agile and
Scrum.
• Familiar working with external development companies and a geographical
disbursed development team.
Skills:
- Certifications in Cloud Computing (Azure of AWS)
• Exposure to containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
