Work with Senior Software Engineers that 'get it' in a no-nonsense, greenfield, major brownfield upgrade and modern dev environment.
You’re a motivated Software Engineer, looking for a real-time platform with work across M2M, TCP/IP networking and a mix of brownfield and greenfield C++ software development. You might also be keen on writing web applications using .NET hosted on Azure and explore the use of lightweight messaging protocols (e.g. MQTT, AMQP etc) for future product iterations.
You’ll have a hybrid and flexible office centric work environment with core hours of 10 am-3 pm to suit you whether you're an early riser or late finisher. Working alongside a team that is predominantly made up of other Senior Software Engineers, your peers ‘get it’.
They know what good software development looks like and how to achieve it. You’ll work with an engineering team of 20 in a logical, modern, environment using the Atlassian tool suite with automated CI/CD process chains, and embracing best-practice.
Creating high-fidelity software for intelligent major infrastructure projects, you’ll also have the opportunity to incorporate modern web application architectures and lightweight messaging protocols that will take these 20+ year old products significantly forward.

You’ll not be expected to take your work home with you, work shift patterns or be ‘on call’. Instead, you’ll find predictability, consistency and reliability.
Reporting into one of the project leads that’s been on the program for 10+ years, you’ll have system guides and experts to help get you up to speed on this system of systems, cutting code and contributing in a meaningful way in your first week.
Finally, they aren’t too fussed whether you’re at an early, mid or advanced stage of your career as their mission is to hire motivated and forward thinking engineers that want to help evolve the product and ensure it stays relevant.
Do you have experience with:
- Software design and development in a Linux environment on projects to industry standards
- One or more of the following languages: C++ or C++
- Strong knowledge of networking or streaming protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, RTMP)
