My client is a local, privately-owned consulting and IT managed services organisation based on the city fringes, near tram and parklands. Reporting to the Head of Software, the primary focus of this role will be providing development and technical support for a range of clients in health services, agriculture, and aviation sectors.
Working within a fast-paced agile development team you will become a SME for applications guiding enhancements through development, testing, delivery and maintenance.
The Opportunity
- Work within an Agile development team to develop, test and maintain, web and Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
- Develop domain knowledge around client solutions across a wide array of industries.
- Support deployment of releases to UAT and Production environments through CI/CD pipelines.
- Present and demonstrate completed work to solution owners and business practitioners.
- Work with the Project Manager/Business Analyst to understand and triage customer issues.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and investigation skills.
- Participate in documentation, design and collaborative solution reviews.
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant qualification
- 3+ years’ experience as a developer.
- Relevant experience in the following technology:
- Serverless Application development (AWS and/or Azure)
- JavaScript and associated libraries/runtimes (Vue and/or React, Node.js)
- .NET - C#, ASP.NET Webforms/MVC
- SQL Server 2016+, T-SQL
- Experience in the following areas highly regarded:
- Cloud Technologies – AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services
- Blockchain, ML, AI
- Python
- UX Design
- GIT Source Control
- Agile Scrum team experience highly regarded. We require a team player.
