Your new role
Our client is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join their growing team .You will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of a broad range of software products such as tool design software and automation for CNC machines.
Key Responsibilities;
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet requirements and scope of work
- Liaise with the larger team to ensure delivery of projects
- Design and implement software to industry best practices.
- Contribute to all phases of projects including planning, documentation, and deployment.
- Be an integral part of the team in writing test and coding
- Gain exposure to hands on machine testing through software verification on a simulator
- Providing technical support for internal and external customers.
- Contributing to continuous improvement activities.
- Work collaboratively as part of a larger team towards project deliverables
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven technical competency in Software Engineering practices.
- Qualification in systems, software or relevant
- A strong comprehension of Object-oriented software analysis and design.
- Experience in Java programming for full stack development
- Demonstrated root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated engineering mathematics or a keen interest in algebra, calculus, numerical analysis, kinematics.
- An understanding of SCRUM or similar Agile framework.
