About the company Our client is a growing Melbourne based technology company that designs and manufactures electronic products for a wide range of markets such as IoT, Mining, Smart Lighting, Environmental monitoring, Medical and more.About the role As a qualified Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing Windows PC applications, Mobile Apps and occasional work on Embedded C code, therefore some experience in the embedded environment is a MUST!
The role is exceptionally varied and ideally, they are wanting someone who is flexible, that can adapt to the requirements at any given time. Some projects may require developing Embedded Firmware on STM32, or PC tools to support the product, in addition to creating an app.
Our client is open to consider candidates looking for casual, part time, contract or full time permanent employment. After a certain period, flexibility WFH can be considered.
Skills and Experience:
- Visual Studio and C# are key requirements.
- Understand hardware/electronics and be able to read schematics.
- Some experience with embedded C required.
- Strongly preferred: Experience with STM32 microprocessor family.
- Experience with UART drivers.
- Experience with SPI drivers.
- Preferred by not mandatory: Experience with IAR.
- Preferred by not mandatory: Experience with Git.
