Who We Are:

Sackett Services is a customer focused Airconditioning & Electrical Contractor that has been operating in Southern Tasmania since 1992 and we are located at Cambridge in Hobart.  We specialise in air conditioning, heating, and cooling and mechanical electrical services for both commercial and residential customers.

We are expanding our Solar and Renewables service division and looking for an experienced qualified Solar and Renewables installer to join our growing team. 

Our expanding services offer includes:

  • Solar energy, batteries and electric vehicle charging for commercial and complex residential projects and
  • Service and maintenance of sustainable energy infrastructure.

You would have the opportunity to advance within our team and become a leader in the Solar and Renewables services division .

What You'll Do:

  • Perform daily on-site solar installations and system commissioning, including loading up stock, hanging inverters, commissioning solar systems, and walking customers through how to utilise their power system.
  • Undertake quoting of jobs
  • Install necessary components such as panels, cabling, roof racking, and conduits.
  • Utilise user-friendly mobile apps for job safety, installation management, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with an experienced team to enhance job satisfaction and skill development.
  • Join a positive and supportive working environment.

The Right Person Must Have:

  • A valid driver's license and white card
  • A CEC Qualification
  • An Electrical trade certificate would be desirable 
  • Willingness to upskill and adapt as needed.
