Position Title: Solid Plasterer
Salary: From $70,000 plus 11 % Superannuation
Multi Renders PTY LTD are looking for an experienced and qualified Solid Plasterer for an immediate start. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Sydney and surrounds.
Working as a Solid Plasterer, the successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties:
Conduct rendering tasks as specified for each job by preparing surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sealing, and levelling as necessary.
Prepare plaster mixtures, mixing and applying solid plastering materials, including cement, sand, and lime, according to specific project requirements.
Apply and finish plastering surfaces as required using hand tools, a float to apply render and finish to flat and curved surfaces, trowels, and other equipment.
Measuring, marking, cutting and installing panels of plasterboard.
Achieving precise and uniform finishes, paying attention to detail, and ensuring the highest quality standards.
Preparing and fixing pre-cast cornices, corner beads, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings while coating joins and nail holes for a smooth finish.
Apply internal and external decorative and protective finishing and coverings.
Working on both residential and commercial projects, contributing to various stages of
construction and renovation.
Maintain a clean and safe work site at all times.
For this position it is expected that you would possess the following qualifications and work
experience:
A Certificate III in Solid Plastering with at least 2 years of full-time experience working in a Solid Plasterer role. This formal qualification can be substituted by at least 3 years of work experience in a Solid Plasterer role.
Attributes such as the ability to performance under pressure, paying attention to details and time constraints will be highly regarded.
