The Solution Architect is responsible for designing comprehensive solutions that meet our clients business needs and align with their strategic objectives.
The role requires strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Contract Duration - 6 months - 12 months
Location: Osborne Park, WA
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and requirements.
- Design end-to-end solutions that address client needs while considering factors such as scalability, security, performance, and cost.
- Create architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and other artefacts to effectively communicate solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation process.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that drive business value.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations and demonstrations.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
- Continuously assess and improve existing architectures to ensure they remain robust and efficient.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or a similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
- Experience with modern development frameworks, languages, and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF) are a plus.
- Experience in industries such as mining is highly desirable.
