Solution Architect

RoleWe are looking for an experienced Solution Architect who has diverse expertise within software engineering, power engineering, mobile technologies, embedded electronics, micro electro-mechanical systems, robotics, artificial intelligence and human ergonomics. You will be able to conduct software integration engineering activities that include holding meaningful discussions with a range of experts and stakeholders made available to them, to review and synthesise. A significant body of work has already been delivered, and it is anticipated that an initial release of the it, will occur by the end of 2024. The intent is to improve preparedness and effectiveness via materiel systems which are integrated, adaptable, interoperable, affordable, and effective.

Deliverables

The following will be key to success in this role:

• Plan and manage the delivery of the project technical tasks and outcomes with the Project Manager and Design PMO
• Assist the Tech Lead to develop the architecture and model
• Priority of effort will be to develop and execute a schedule of works delivering the first (and subsequent) iterations of the project Standard, with an anticipated version 1.0 publish date of Q4 2024
• Conduct technical review and approval of engineering designs, documentation, investigation and trial reports as directed by the Tech Lead
• Oversee engineering process/conduct within the product line, in accordance with Design Program, LNIC, Army and CASG engineering policies,
