OverviewOur large Federal Government client has a multi-year software development project that recently commenced within its Information Services Branch. We require an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Solution Architect to assist in solution design, data migration, integrations, and delivery under the project.
The lead will have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Azure services, Dynamics 365, Power BI, SharePoint Online, custom web and API development, basic architecture, and integration with bespoke and/or COTS services and products.
Working as part of a project team of developers, testers, and business analysts, you will be responsible for shaping the architecture and technical design of portal and case system components of a system, and the design, customisation and integration of COTS and/or existing products and services. You will also be responsible for understanding, estimating and building from complex user requirements, liaising with business and other technical teams, and upholding standards set out by departments''s architecture and technical design authorities.
The successful applicant is required to have:
- Demonstrated experience in shaping the work of technical developers.
- Proven track record designing business solutions using a combination of the following technologies: Dynamics 365, ASP .Net, SharePoint Online, Azure functions, Power BI, cloud-hosted COTS products, and services such as the ABR lookup and Digital Identity.
- Experience migrating to and delivering end-to-end Azure digital solutions, including designing, building, data migration, and the release of software in an enterprise environment (Government experience preferred).
- Demonstrated experience working in an agile team of developers, testers and business analysts, using Azure DevOps, and assisting in reporting to the project manager on progress and issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.

- Demonstrated experience in leading a team of technical developers, including assigning work, resolving technical issues and authoring detailed designs.
- Proven track record designing business solutions using most (desirably all) of the following technologies: Dynamics 365, .Net Razor pages, Azure functions, Power BI, cloud-hosted COTS products, and services such as the ABR lookup and Digital Identity.
- Demonstrated experience leading an agile team using Azure DevOps, and assisting in reporting to the project manager on progress and issues
- Experience migrating to and delivering end-to-end Azure digital solutions, including designing, building, data migration, and the release of software in an enterprise environment (Government experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
